VivoCity is the largest retail mall in Singapore, serving as a gateway to Sentosa Island. The mall provides a broad and enticing range of shopping, dining and entertainment options across 1 million sq.ft of lettable area. The mall is one of the properties in the portfolio of Mapletree Commercial Trust (MCT), Mapletree Investment’s Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) launched in 2011.

As part of the MCT REIT launch, Cistri performed an independent review of Singapore’s retail property market and VivoCity’s performance, which was incorporated into MCT’s initial public offering (IPO) prospectus. Our scope of work included market sizing, competitor analysis and turnover and sales forecasts for the mall.
