Translating a bold vision into place

Cistri led a multidisciplinary team as part of an international design competition to help bring the client’s vision for an aspirational and inclusive destination to life.

Our master plan responded closely to the site’s natural coastal landscape, creating four distinct villages, each defined by its own identity and approach to coastal living. The plan balanced destination appeal with accessibility, ensuring the development could support visitors, residents and future growth over time.

Embedding sustainability

Sustainability and respect for the natural environment were central to the planning approach. Mobility strategies were carefully integrated to improve connectivity and access while preserving the environmental integrity of the coastline and surrounding landscape.

The project demonstrates how integrated master planning can help shape globally competitive destinations that are grounded in place, experience and long-term environmental stewardship.

Project Turquoise transforms a vast Red Sea coastline into a sustainable, village-based destination.
