Cistri was delighted to sponsor the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Asia Pacific Summit held in Singapore last week.

With over 600 delegates, the international gathering brings together leaders in the industry from property, government, finance and associated sectors – from the Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas.

Emerging technologies

A key theme of the Summit was the accelerating change technology is making to our living and working routines, and, therefore, to the types of real estate we are going to require.

The key note address by Vivek Wadhwa, the leading Silicon Valley emerging technologies expert centred on the advancing technologies that are soon going to change our world.  Robotics, artifical intelligence, synthetic biology are just some of the things set to disrupt industries.

The City Stitch

Sydney’s Simon Gunasekara and Brisbane’s Nicholas Stevenson, from Cistri’s parent company Urbis Pty Ltd in Australia, also joined the Cistri team in Singapore.  Nicholas gave an excellent presentation on his ULI Australia award-winning ‘The City Stitch’ concept

The ULI certainly does bring together the leaders in the industry and we were delighted to play a key role in this international gathering

Young Leaders Forum

The Cistri team was out in force at the Summit, with consultants Mathan Sugumaran and Park San Jing engaging with industry delegates at our booth.

Mathan and Park also played a role in the ULI Young Leaders Forum which ran concurrently with the Summit. The Forum explores core themes impacting the ever-changing real estate industry.
