The Diriyah Gate project aims to restore and develop one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant heritage sites into a world-class leisure attraction. When completed, it will house cultural, entertainment, retail, hospitality, residential and other commercial uses in a setting that pays homage to the Kingdom’s history and will form an important part of the country’s Vision 2030 drive.
Cistri advised the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) on the hospitality and retail components of the project to inform the detailed master plan. This advice included a review of the Riyadh retail and hotel markets, recommendations on the market positioning, optimal scale, typology and phasing of assets, cashflow forecasts and financial assessments of these important components of the master plan.
